Quality Inspector Job Description

Honor Plastics & Molding is seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by inspecting, testing, and measuring final products during manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect final products for quality and accuracy
  • Test and measure products to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Review blueprints and specifications to understand product requirements
  • Responsible for all start-up and shutdown procedures during the shift
  • Responsible for all equipment and documents used during manufacturing shifts
  • Responsible for data recording, statistical analysis, and reporting
  • Responsible for making shift reports and informing supervisors of any issues
  • Knowledge and ability to perform first-article reports to blueprints and customer requirements
  • Reject final products that do not meet customer requirements and inform shift supervisors
  • Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control
  • Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner
  • Responsible for all start-up samples to be handed in the library
  • Responsible for retaining samples properly
  • Perform any other assignments given by the Quality Assurance Manager

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques
  • Knowledge and understanding of complex blueprints
  • IQMS, CMM, and RAM (preferred)
  • Certification of quality control is a strong advantage
  • AQI tables
  • Knowledge on validation of tools (OQ, PQ)
