Job Responsibilities
- Verify and maintain accuracy of patient documents and files
- Enter data into our system with precision and speed
- Process paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
- Create new patient files and maintain existing ones
- File patient documents and maintain a secure and organized environment
- Communicate with outside clinics to collect missing paperwork
- Request patient medical records and maintain confidentiality
- Answer phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Schedule patients for visits and maintain a smooth workflow
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or a combination of education and experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior medical office experience
- Experience with medical insurance and referrals
- High proficiency in PC systems, tools, and applications
- Bilingual a plus
