We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Preconstruction to lead our preconstruction team and drive the successful completion of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop the preconstruction team to ensure efficient project delivery
  • Oversee the development of project financials, risk management, and client relations
  • Collaborate with ownership and design teams to understand project goals and objectives
  • Review project documents for completeness and accuracy to facilitate the design process
  • Develop preconstruction schedules and monitor progress to ensure timely completion
  • Develop scope for trade packages and vet subcontractors to ensure compliance with Contract Documents
  • Perform quantity take-offs and detailed plan reviews to ensure accuracy
  • Write and execute applicable subcontracts and purchase orders
  • Assist in the development of project estimates and owner proposals
  • Collaborate with operations teams on budget development and present job cost, scheduling updates, and budget updates

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent combination of onsite training
  • 10+ years of experience in the construction industry
  • Working knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Office
  • Hard-working, motivated, and passionate individual

This role will be based out of our headquarters in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, with occasional travel to job sites required.
