South Shore Health System is seeking a skilled Physician Leader to join our Hospital Medicine team as a Hospitalist Physician - Per Diem. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading medical teams, and contributing to the development of our hospital's medical programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical services to patients in a hospital setting, including admitting, attending physician coverage, and performing consults at the request of other physicians.
- Supervise Physician Extenders and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Participate in educational and policy meetings requiring medical expertise.
- Respond to emergency codes within the hospital and participate in the Rapid Response Team.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
