About the Role

As a CBRE Technical Manager, you will play a key role in the management of our data center operations. You will be responsible for supervising a team of employees, providing training and development opportunities, and conducting performance evaluations. You will also be responsible for coordinating the daily activities of the team, establishing work schedules, and assigning tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide formal supervision to employees and conduct performance evaluations
  • Coordinate the daily activities of the team and establish work schedules
  • Assign tasks and cross-train staff to ensure effective operations
  • Manage operations and maintenance for assigned facilities, including fire/life safety, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical issues
  • Implement improvements for preventive maintenance programs and maintain effective building-specific maintenance and safety procedure manuals
  • Coordinate maintenance efforts with outside contractors, tenant finish personnel, and technicians
  • Oversee all building systems and remain current with the latest technology trends
  • Guide ongoing communication with tenants, clients, owners, facility management team, and vendors
  • Facilitate the acquisition of new management contracts and maintain as-built drawings
  • Respond to emergency situations and customer concerns
Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience in facilities management, data center operations, or a related field. The candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to guide the exchange of sensitive information.
