Data Center Operations Manager

At T5 Data Centers, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Manager to join our team. This is a critical role that requires a strong background in data center operations, management, and leadership.
Job SummaryThe Facilities Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of data center operations, including electrical and mechanical systems, maintenance, and repairs. This individual will work closely with the data center team to ensure seamless operations, minimize downtime, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the data center team to achieve exceptional operational performance and customer satisfaction
- Develop and implement effective maintenance and repair strategies to minimize downtime and optimize system performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Manage and maintain accurate records of data center operations, including maintenance schedules, repair history, and performance metrics
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Provide training and guidance to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
- Develop and manage budgets to ensure effective resource allocation and cost management
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, operations management, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data center operations, management, or a related field
- Proven track record of leadership and management experience, with a strong focus on team development and performance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements and cost savings
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and operational performance
