Job Summary

As a key member of the Prisma Health team, the Clinical Operations Manager will oversee the daily clinical operations of assigned clinics, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This role requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate clinical support, manage staff, and develop quality improvement programs.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and other activities related to direct patient care.
  • Participate in the assessment of clinical staffing needs, adjusting staffing levels and forecasting needs.
  • Develop and conduct orientation and in-service training for clinical staff.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain emergency preparedness plans for clinical response.
  • Serve as a liaison between clinical staff and physicians.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of quality improvement programs, including incident reports, patient complaints, and suggestions.
  • Monitor local, state, and federal regulations affecting operations and assist with the development, implementation, and monitoring of policies and procedures.
  • Contact vendors for repair or routine service of medical equipment.
  • Maintain adequate levels of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals.
  • Ensure adherence to DEA, DHEC, CLIA, and other regulatory agency policies and procedures.
  • Oversee physician schedules.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree - Nursing
  • 2 Years - Nursing experience in the specialty area with physician office practice experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 Year nursing experience in the specialty area and 2 years' experience as a non-RN clinical coordinator in a physician practice.
  • 1 Year nursing experience and 5 years of Medical Assistant experience.
Certifications, Registrations, Licenses
  • SC Registered Nurse
  • CPR Certification

  • Knowledge of office equipment (fax/copier)
  • Mathematical Skills
  • Patient Equip (Vitals, Suction, Defib)
