Position Overview: Reporting to a Sales Manager, the role involves quoting and selling dental insurance policy premiums to incoming sales prospects generated from advertising and purchased leads, while ensuring exceptional customer service for both new and existing clients.
Work Environment: This is primarily a remote position, with 80% of your time (4+ days per week) spent working from home, near one of our office locations.
Occasional Travel: There may be instances where you will be required to travel to an office for in-person engagement activities, such as team meetings, training sessions, and cultural events.
Training Requirements: Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates. Mandatory training will take place in-person at the designated office for a duration of 7 weeks. Training hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM local time, with no time off permitted during this period.
Work Schedule: Normal business hours are Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 11 PM EST, and Saturday and Sunday from 8 AM to 6 PM EST. After training, your schedule will align with one of the following options:
- Monday to Friday 1:30 PM to 10 PM EST, rotating Saturdays and Sundays 8 AM to 6 PM EST
- Monday to Friday 2 PM to 10:30 PM EST, rotating Saturdays and Sundays 8 AM to 6 PM EST
- Monday to Friday 2:30 PM to 11 PM EST, rotating Saturdays and Sundays 8 AM to 6 PM EST
Responsibilities:
- Quote and sell insurance products to both new and existing customers.
- Advise prospects on suitable insurance coverage options based on their individual circumstances.
- Run reports from various systems to verify the accuracy of information provided by potential clients regarding their insurance and driving history.
- Service existing customer policies, including making policy changes when customer service is unavailable.
- Follow up on underwriting department requests to ensure adherence to policy underwriting standards and enhance customer retention.
- Participate in sales meetings, seminars, or educational activities to stay updated on market trends and regulations while maintaining state licensing.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications effectively.
