Job Summary
This 3rd shift position is responsible for operating welding equipment to build high-quality parts, subassemblies, and finished products. The weldments vary in type, size, and direction and are performed on a variety of production lines. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating an overhead crane to maneuver parts safely into place, adjusting welding current to proper weld configurations, heating and forming metal parts and components using hand tools, torch, or welding equipment, and welding components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. The candidate will also be responsible for accurately operating and reading measuring devices, assembling and welding various metal parts together, properly positioning material/parts to be welded, training and working in various areas of production in response to production demands, following verbal and written work instructions, including the ability to read blueprints, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 6 plus months of welding experience either through education or work
- Welding Certification through an educational institution
- 1 plus year(s) of welding experience in a manufacturing industry
