Trailer Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Trailer Technician to join our team at Peterson Motors Co in Watertown, SD. As a Trailer Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and installing trailers using pneumatic riveting tools and basic hand tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pre-build assemblies for trailers
  • Installation and alignment of rubber belting, wiring harness, and hydraulic lines
  • Assist other team members in installation of trailer assemblies
  • Perform trailer accessory installation, parts running, prep, and check over trucks and trailers for sale
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
  • Basic hand tool skills and knowledge of pneumatic riveting tools
