About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at Lexington Acutes. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients with end-stage renal disease.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment.
  • Conduct routine patient assessments, record vital signs, and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Prepare patients for dialysis treatment, including setting up equipment and administering medications as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on kidney disease, dialysis, and related topics.
Requirements
  • CCHT Dialysis Certificate required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies as needed.
