Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of warehouse staff to ensure timely completion of all warehouse tasks.
- Align people and process to optimize the value of the supply chain.
- Utilize, maintain, and recommend improvements within the warehouse management system (SAP EWM).
- Drive the overall culture of safety, quality, and process improvement within the team.
- Monitor efficiency and quality metrics, assign work, and provide coaching to supervised staff.
- Track employee attendance and ensure necessary employee headcount to achieve objectives.
- Regularly report on team performance to leadership.
- Promptly and thoroughly document issues and communicate the root cause and resolution to internal stakeholders.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve operations and mitigate risks within the supervised team and broader warehouse operations.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of leadership experience.
- 1+ years of experience with Foreign Trade Zone application.
- 1+ years of application experience using Supply Chain Management through ERP, TMS, and WMS systems.
- Ability to work overtime and cover additional shifts as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience with broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations.
- Experience operating material handling equipment.
- SAP warehouse management experience with EWM.
- 3+ years of experience working with supply chain operations, transportation management systems or associated technologies.
