Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of warehouse staff to ensure timely completion of all warehouse tasks.
  • Align people and process to optimize the value of the supply chain.
  • Utilize, maintain, and recommend improvements within the warehouse management system (SAP EWM).
  • Drive the overall culture of safety, quality, and process improvement within the team.
  • Monitor efficiency and quality metrics, assign work, and provide coaching to supervised staff.
  • Track employee attendance and ensure necessary employee headcount to achieve objectives.
  • Regularly report on team performance to leadership.
  • Promptly and thoroughly document issues and communicate the root cause and resolution to internal stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve operations and mitigate risks within the supervised team and broader warehouse operations.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of leadership experience.
  • 1+ years of experience with Foreign Trade Zone application.
  • 1+ years of application experience using Supply Chain Management through ERP, TMS, and WMS systems.
  • Ability to work overtime and cover additional shifts as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience with broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations.
  • Experience operating material handling equipment.
  • SAP warehouse management experience with EWM.
  • 3+ years of experience working with supply chain operations, transportation management systems or associated technologies.
