Job Description: Diagnostic Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Digital Diagnostic Technologist to join our team at Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Austell, Georgia.

About the Job

This is a 13-week contract position requiring 40 hours of work per week, with 10-hour shifts and days off. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, taking measurements, and assisting in diagnosis. This role requires a strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and effective collaboration with healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality images
  • Take precise measurements to aid in diagnosis
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Current licensure as an MRI technologist
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Compensation:

This position offers a competitive salary range of $83,500 - $108,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. A tax-free stipend amount will be determined upon confirmation of the position.
