About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team on a PRN basis at Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Austell, Georgia.

This is an exciting opportunity for a registered radiology technologist to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to providing high-quality patient care. As a PRN Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for performing various diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and other modalities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Operation: You will be responsible for operating all aspects of the imaging equipment, ensuring that it is properly calibrated and functioning correctly.
  • Patient Care: Your primary focus will be on delivering excellent patient care, obtaining complete clinical histories, and assessing patients for contraindicating conditions.
  • Quality Control: You will consistently produce high-quality images, following established protocols for technique selection, positioning, and collimation.
  • Operations: In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will also assist with transporting patients, restocking supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology required.
  • Licenses and Certifications: ARRT Radiography certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
  • Experience: Entry-level position with no prior experience necessary.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, and paid time off.
