Responsibilities:
- Student Assessment and Support: Conduct thorough assessments to determine students' skills and educational needs, and develop individualized plans to support their growth and development.
- Classroom Management: Create a structured and organized learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth for students with multiple disabilities, including medical, physical, cognitive, and communication challenges.
- Instruction and Support: Deliver high-quality instruction and provide support to students, including prepping, planning, and overseeing the work of paraprofessionals.
- IEP Development and Data Collection: Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collect data to inform instruction and support student progress.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Education and a Master's or Doctoral degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Licensure: Maryland Special Education license.
