We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team and ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment. Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Management: Lead a team of mechanical and electrical personnel in the execution of safe and effective maintenance procedures.
- Maintenance Program Development: Develop and implement a maintenance program that incorporates preventative and routine maintenance activities to minimize machine downtime.
- Equipment Repair and Maintenance: Lead mechanical staff in repairs or rebuilds of equipment as needed to avoid breakdowns, ensuring work is completed safely and documented accurately.
- Training and Development: Lead the training requirements and professional development of the maintenance team.
- Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and identify equipment problems and solutions when necessary.
- Spare Parts Inventory Management: Responsible for managing spare parts inventory.
- Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Comply with corporate standards and applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.
- Goal Setting and Objectives: Establish goals and objectives for the maintenance department that are aligned with plant and business goals.
- Equipment Maintenance and Quality: Ensure equipment is properly maintained to meet production schedules and quality standards.
- Reliability Excellence: Accountable for improving equipment availability and advancing preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
- Maintenance Efficiency: Accountable for efficient utilization of maintenance technicians and equipment and advancing planning and scheduling processes.
- Improvement Initiatives: Initiate and drive improvements via training programs, capital projects, and other means available to continually focus on productivity and control of maintenance and capital spend.
- Performance Evaluation: Analyze maintenance problems and devise and implement corrective action plans.
- Employee Development: Evaluate employee performance to determine training needs and development opportunities.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience as a plant-wide Maintenance Manager.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
- Preferred Qualifications: Injection molding or foaming experience, PLC experience.
