About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically driven Hardware Design Engineer to join our Integrated Systems Test (IST) Hardware Engineering team at Teradyne. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing power subsystems for our hardware products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop complex hardware systems, from inception to first customer shipment and beyond.
  • Define and perform hardware prototyping and characterization experiments.
  • Execute product integration and verification testing, and debug in a hands-on manner.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to produce a successful product design.
  • Mentor junior engineers and lead technical teams.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in hardware design and development.
  • Experience with power designs, lab debug, and hardware verification.
  • Knowledge of digital hardware design, power distribution networks, and high-speed PCB design.
  • Proficiency in printed circuit board design tools, simulation tools, and lab equipment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Adaptability and ability to learn new skills.
  • Commitment to excellence, efficiency, and product quality.
