Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing technical traffic analyses and preparing technical studies.
  • Leading complex projects and collaborating with clients and local agencies.
  • Mentoring junior staff and ensuring the technical accuracy of project deliverables.
  • Communicating with clients and local agencies, and attending public hearings.
  • Managing project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
  • Assisting with contract writing and invoice review.

Requirements:

  • BS in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in traffic engineering with both private and public clients.
  • Experience with project management and communication skills for public hearings.
  • A PE license is required.
  • PTOE Certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of traffic analysis software applications (Synchro/SimTraffic and HCS).
