Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Customer Experience Supervisor to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for promoting an exceptional customer experience, leading a team of Associates, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example, demonstrating outstanding customer service and promoting a positive store environment
  • Train and mentor Associates on front-end principles, including customer service, sales techniques, and store operations
  • Assign registers, support POS coverage needs, and coordinate breaks for Associates
  • Address customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Communicate effectively with management and Associates, prioritizing tasks and providing progress updates
  • Partner with management to identify and address training needs, ensuring Associate effectiveness
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures
  • Promote credit and loyalty programs, and support store shrink reduction goals
  • Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe store environment
Requirements
  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Strong understanding of merchandising techniques and ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail
  • Able to respond effectively to changes in direction or unexpected situations
  • Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
  • Able to train others and demonstrate leadership skills
  • 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience
