Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer Lead to join our team at IASIS Healthcare. As a key member of our security department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to prevent and respond to security incidents.
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential security threats.
  • Collaborate with hospital staff and management to develop and implement security policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and guidance to security personnel on security procedures and protocols.
  • Investigate and document security incidents and develop plans to prevent future incidents.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local law enforcement and emergency services to ensure a coordinated response to security incidents.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in security or law enforcement, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support (CPR) certification or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
