The Pharmacist will provide comprehensive and accurate drug screening, information, processing, and dispensing services for various drug distribution systems to the centers. Key Responsibilities:- Meet/exceed site budgets by leveraging operating policies, procedures, and processes to ensure operational excellence.
- Optimize cost management in line with script counts and drive organic growth and mitigate risk with existing customer relationships.
- Negotiate and finalize customer contracts in collaboration with regional leadership.
- Collaborate with Sales to drive deal closures and organic growth.
- Collaborate with Account Management, Sales, Consultant Pharmacists, and corporate functions to meet overall site goals and objectives.
- Evaluate the overall results of operations and regularly report the results to the General Manager and/or Vice President of Operations.
- Ensure compliance with state and/or federal regulations and laws governing financial and pharmacy operations.
- Ensure the privacy, confidentiality, and security of patient information and property.
- Have a thorough understanding of the Customer Pharmacy Services policy and procedure manual and internal pharmacy policies and procedures.
- Current license to practice pharmacy in good standing.
- Proficient in clinical interpretation: drug-drug, drug-disease, drug-food interactions, and allergies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledgeable about long term care regulations (OBRA, OSHA, state laws, and other federal laws) that have an impact upon both pharmacy and Center operations.
