Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Master Technician to join our team at Sun Auto Tire & Service. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for ensuring that repairs are performed correctly and efficiently by qualified technicians, while maintaining a consistently high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose vehicles according to the appropriate level of certifications/experience.
  • Perform work as outlined on the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals, including the Store Manager, Service Consultants, and/or customers.
  • Recommend services that are necessary to keep the customers vehicle in running condition, properly documenting all recommendations in customer files.
  • Follow all safety procedures and report any concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
  • Maintain appropriate ASE certifications and renewals of expiring certifications.

Requirements:

  • Prefer a minimum of one unexpired ASE or equivalent experience or training.
  • Possess a valid driver's license or obtain a valid driver's license within 30 days of hire date.
  • Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.
