Key Responsibilities- Assist healthcare providers with delivering quality patient care
- Obtain and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature
- Perform basic medical procedures, such as blood draws and EKGs
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens
- Record patient information in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Answer patient inquiries and relay information to healthcare providers
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (required)
- Medical Assistant Certification or Registered Medical Assistant preferred
- Licensed Practical Nurses - NC licensure preferred
- Medical phone triage experience preferred
- Ability to float between nearby clinical sites as needed
- Bi-Lingual (preferred, but not required)
