Swim Lesson Coordinator

Miller Swim School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Deck Supervisor to lead our team of swim instructors. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of our swim lessons.

• Curriculum Expertise: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our swim curriculum to ensure lessons are taught to the highest standards.
• Leadership and Morale: Foster a positive and supportive team environment, inspiring instructors to take pride in their work.
• Training and Support: Provide guidance and support to instructors as needed, ensuring they have the tools and resources to succeed.
• Student Engagement: Stay informed about students and their progress, providing personalized support and guidance as needed.
• Parent Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and any important updates.
• Student Evaluation: Conduct regular assessments and record students' skill progress, providing valuable insights for instructors and parents.
• Meetings: Attend regular staff, supervisor, and instructor meetings to discuss important topics and share best practices.
• Reporting: Provide regular reports to the Aquatics Director, General Manager, and District Manager, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.

• Swimming Background: Previous experience with competitive swimming is preferred, but not required.
• Leadership Experience: Proven experience in managing others, with a strong track record of success.
• Certification: Ability to obtain lifeguard certification, with a strong commitment to water safety.
