Job Title: Therapeutic Expertise Associate

We are seeking an experienced Therapeutic Expertise Associate to join our team at GlaxoSmithKline. As a critical member of our medical affairs department, you will be responsible for delivering scientific training and education to various stakeholders.

About the Role:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement scientific strategies and initiatives.
  • BUILD AND MAINTAIN RELATIONSHIPS WITH KEY STAKEHOLDERS, INCLUDING HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS, ACADEMIC INSTITUTIONS, AND PATIENT ADVOCACY GROUPS.
  • DEVELOP AND DELIVER HIGH-QUALITY PRESENTATIONS, EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS, AND SCIENTIFIC COMMUNICATIONS TO SUPPORT CLINICAL RESEARCH INITIATIVES.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. CONDUCT NEEDS ASSESSMENTS TO IDENTIFY AREAS FOR SCIENTIFIC EXCHANGE AND COLLABORATION.
  2. MAINTAIN EXPERTISE IN EVOLVING SCIENTIFIC AND THERAPEUTIC AREAS THROUGH ONGOING EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT.
  3. PROMOTE EVIDENCE-BASED MEDICINE AND SUPPORT CLINICAL RESEARCH INITIATIVES.

Requirements:

  • Pharm.D., Ph.D., DNP, or M.D. degree with a focus on clinical or pharmaceutical sciences.
  • Minimum two years' experience in pharmacology, pharmacotherapy, or related field with a track record of success in a clinical setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
