Job Title: Field Based Medical Science Liaison

Location: USA - Missouri - St. Louis, USA - Arkansas - Little Rock, USA - Missouri - Kansas City, USA - Oklahoma - Oklahoma City

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Therapeutic Liaison to join our team at GlaxoSmithKline. As a key member of our medical affairs department, you will play a crucial role in executing the external engagement strategy aligned to our therapeutic portfolio.

About the Role:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive understanding of our therapeutic area and competitors.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, academic institutions, and patient advocacy groups.
  • Provide scientific training and education to sales representatives, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Promote evidence-based medicine and support clinical research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct needs assessments to identify areas for scientific exchange and collaboration.
  2. Develop and deliver high-quality presentations, educational materials, and scientific communications.
  3. Foster partnerships with key opinion leaders, researchers, and other stakeholders to advance our therapeutic goals.
  4. Maintain expertise in evolving scientific and therapeutic areas through ongoing education and professional development.

Requirements:

  • Pharm.D., Ph.D., DNP, or M.D. degree with a focus on clinical or pharmaceutical sciences.
  • Minimum two years' experience in pharmacology, pharmacotherapy, or related field with a track record of success in a clinical setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
