Job Summary

OneStaff Medical is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team for a travel assignment in Illinois. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and ensuring high-quality images are captured.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, to produce high-quality images
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients for optimal image capture
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during exams, and respond to any medical emergencies that may arise
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams, including images and diagnoses
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or Computed Tomography (CT)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Ability to lift and move patients, as well as stand for long periods of time
