Role Summary

As a Receiving Clerk at Hôtel Swexan, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our property receiving dock and warehouse storerooms. You will receive, store, and distribute goods within the hotel's warehouse while maintaining high standards of efficiency and accuracy.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as necessary to avoid depleted par levels and ensure timely availability of goods.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with system records, investigating any discrepancies.
  • Ensure storerooms are secured when unattended, following current property SOP for entry and allowing into product storerooms.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving dock and warehouse environment, including regular inventory counts and stock rotation.
  • Implement efficient shelving and storage solutions to maximize space utilization.
  • Inspect deliveries for damages and discrepancies, promptly reporting any issues to the appropriate department.
  • Verify received items against purchase orders and packing slips, resolving discrepancies as needed.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a warehouse or inventory management role, preferably in a luxury hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects safely.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to warehouse operations.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
