About the Role

The Inventory Control Manager at Rush Truck Centers plays a pivotal role in directing and coordinating the activities of personnel engaged in purchasing and distributing parts and supplies. Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain optimal inventory levels to maximize turnover and minimize excess stock.

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure inventory security and minimize loss.

  • Foster strong relationships with customers to build loyalty and drive sales growth.

  • Set and achieve sales and profit objectives through effective leadership and strategic planning.

  • Prepare and administer the annual operating budget to ensure financial stability and success.

  • Complete commission for parts counter sales staff by providing guidance and support.

  • Centralize purchasing operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Assist in collecting past due accounts to maintain a positive cash flow.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

  • Two years' experience in parts inventory management in a dealership environment is preferred.

  • A valid driver's license with a good driving record is necessary.
