Job Classification:

Daytime Hours
Full-Time – 10-hour shifts
On-Site role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service and maintain heavy machinery, trucks, and service vehicles
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and policies
  • Conduct inspections and diagnostic assessments of vehicles and equipment; identify and rectify worn or damaged components
  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and propose effective solutions
  • Perform preventive maintenance in accordance with industry standards
  • Maintain shop equipment as per operational guidelines; troubleshoot and coordinate repairs as necessary
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on vehicles and equipment
  • Execute greasing, oiling, and lubrication of components during maintenance
  • Complete necessary documentation using fleet maintenance software related to repairs, parts usage, and repair times
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and safety procedures

Qualifications:
  • Ability to meet deadlines and demonstrate self-motivation
  • Extensive knowledge of hydraulic systems and diesel vehicles
  • Experience with MIG and stick welding techniques
  • Must possess personal hand tools
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and best practices
  • Skills in cutting with torches and plasma cutters
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a diesel mechanic

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, twist, and move throughout the day; use hands in repetitive motions; work comfortably in both indoor and outdoor environments; and be exposed to various weather conditions.
