Job Summary

This role is responsible for promoting and safeguarding the community's property and assets against potential threats while delivering exceptional service to residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet residents and visitors, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Screen and verify the identities of residents, family, visitors, and staff.
  • Provide information and directions to residents and guests.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and surrounding spaces.
  • Support other directors as needed, contributing to the overall success of the community.
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct regular safety and security inspections of community property, including common areas, resident corridors, parking areas, and perimeter access.
  • Patrol community buildings and grounds, reporting any irregularities or potential security threats.
  • Investigate and report incidents, accidents, or suspicious occurrences, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents and staff.
  • Respond to security calls and complaints, taking necessary action to resolve issues promptly.
  • Secure and unlock areas and buildings in accordance with community policies and procedures.
  • Notify relevant authorities in emergency situations, ensuring a swift and effective response.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; one to three months of related experience or training preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn community-specific software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
