Position Overview:

Soliant Education is in search of a committed and skilled Exceptional Needs Educator for a rewarding role. This full-time, on-site position is dedicated to supporting students with special needs in a self-contained classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute personalized education plans (IEPs) tailored for students with diverse needs.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere that caters to the unique requirements of each student.
  • Provide instruction in essential academic subjects and life skills, adjusting teaching strategies to accommodate various learning styles.
  • Work collaboratively with general education instructors, support personnel, and families to promote student achievement.
  • Evaluate and track student progress, modifying instructional approaches as necessary.
  • Oversee classroom behavior and implement intervention strategies when required.
  • Keep precise records and documentation in accordance with educational regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related discipline.
  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Experience in a self-contained classroom setting is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development and execution.
