Job Overview

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) in Aberdeen, WA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to students, assessing and responding to their health concerns, injuries, and illnesses in a timely and effective manner.
  • Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with specific medical needs, collaborating with parents/guardians and other healthcare providers as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential health records, including immunization records, health assessments, and documentation of healthcare services provided.
  • Educate students, parents, and staff on health-related topics, including preventive care, hygiene practices, and emergency procedures.
  • Provide accommodations for students with disabilities as needed, in accordance with the school's requirements.
  • Assist students with transportation to and from school as needed.
Requirements
  • Valid RN license in WA.
  • Experience working as a nurse in a school, pediatric, or related healthcare setting (experience in an educational setting preferred).
  • Experience with disability accommodations (i.e. G-tube, trach, and seizure monitoring accommodations) preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills, including first aid, medication administration, and assessment of common childhood illnesses and injuries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff members.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
