We are seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to join our team at AnthroMed Education, a thriving community of special education professionals. Our mission is to deliver top-tier, equitable educational experiences to students across Illinois.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work, be LMSW license eligible in the State of Illinois, and have previous experience in an Early Childhood setting. As a School Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting a mixed caseload of 20-35 students, working alongside other Related Service professionals in the building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted support to identified students in the Elementary setting.
- Support both General Education and Special Education students.
- Manage a 20-35 student caseload.
- Collaborate with other Related Service staff in the building.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies to ensure student well-being and success.
- Advocate for students' holistic welfare (social, emotional, academic).
- Work closely with teachers and families to meet student needs.
- Provide push-in and pull-out services as needed.
- Develop and track interventions to gauge IEP effectiveness.
