Furniture Mover and Box Packing Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable individual to join our team as a Furniture Mover and Box Packing Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for packing, loading, and transporting furniture and other items that require restoration after customers have experienced fires or water damage in their homes.
Key Responsibilities:- Packing & Loading: Safely pack and load furniture and boxes into trucks, ensuring items are secure for transport to our warehouse for restoration.
- Driving: Operate box trucks to transport items to various locations; maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Unloading & Setting Up: Unload items at our warehouse, ensuring they are handled with care for restoration processes.
- Travel Work: Be open to traveling to various job sites as needed.
- Physical Labor: Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy items for extended periods.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively as a team, communicating clearly with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Experience: Prior experience in furniture moving, box packing, or similar physical labor is preferred but not required.
- Drivers License: A valid driver's license is preferred; experience driving box trucks is a plus.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy items 100 pounds, and stand for long periods.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills to interact with team members and customers.
- Dependability: Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality is essential.
