We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Adoration Home Health and Hospice. As a Hospice Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing personal support and care to patients in their homes, helping them to live with dignity and comfort.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as assigned
- Assist with feeding, toileting, and transferring patients as needed
- Take and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry tasks
- Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities
- Meet the training requirements of the State
- Completed a minimum of seventy-five hours of classroom and supervised practical training
- Minimum of six months experience in providing personal care
- At least eighteen years of age
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given
- Understands hospice philosophy and is comfortable providing specialized care to the terminally ill
