Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Auto Claims Adjuster to join our team at Theclm. As an Auto Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for managing, investigating, and resolving vehicle damage claims for both brands and all regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and resolve a variety of express, core, and total loss claims with a focus on total loss across Liberty Mutual and Safeco brands.
  • Evaluate liability, coverage, and settle claims within prescribed procedures and authority.
  • Communicate with policyholders, witnesses, and claimants to gather information regarding claims and refer tasks to auxiliary resources as necessary.
  • Respond to written and telephone inquiries, including status reports.
  • Negotiate settlements within prescribed authority and explain denials to policyholders and claimants.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of claims and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent training.
  • At least 1 year of directly related claims experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of the various operations within the Claims Department.
  • Knowledge of legal liability, general insurance policy coverage, and State Tort Law.
  • Licensing as required.
