Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Risk Assessment Specialist to join our team at TMPC, Inc. As a leading cybersecurity SDVOSB 8(a) company, we provide innovative systems, products, and solutions to our customers worldwide.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security, familiar with DoD security directives, policies, and classification guidance. They will be responsible for conducting risk assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing measures to mitigate potential threats.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments of computer systems, networks, and applications
  • Identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Develop and implement incident response plans
  • Analyze security event logs to detect and respond to potential threats
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security protocols
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • At least two years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on risk assessment and vulnerability management
  • Knowledge of DoD security directives, policies, and classification guidance
  • Familiarity with security frameworks, such as NIST SP 800-53
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
What We Offer

TMPC, Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and holidays.
