Medical Specialist for Traumatic Brain Injury Assessment

CompensationThis is a PRN position with competitive hourly rates, paid weekly, and malpractice insurance included. We offer a salary range of $120-$180 per hour, depending on experience.
Job DescriptionThe Medical Specialist will be responsible for conducting interview-based exams and physical assessments to evaluate traumatic brain injuries. The role involves:
- Assessing patients' range of motion, muscle strength, and evaluating traumatic brain injury
- Conducting examinations primarily through interviews with some physical assessments
- Evaluating respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions using METs testing
To be successful in this role, you must be Board Certified in Neurology, Neurosurgery, or PM&R. Familiarity with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio conditions is also required. You should be proficient in using a Goniometer and have knowledge of DMA certification.
