Oncology Coordinator

The Oncology Coordinator is a vital member of the Northern Dutchess Hospital team, responsible for ensuring accurate demographic and financial information is collected, verified, and recorded in the Electronic Health Record/Patient Accounting System. Key duties include Patient Pre-Registration, Registration, Insurance Verification Determination, Scheduling, and Admitting. The successful candidate will also be responsible for obtaining signatures for required consents and notifications.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
