Job Overview

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at our Skilled Nursing Facility in the Bronx, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.

Job Responsibilities
  • Collecting and documenting resident information, including medical records and insurance details.
  • Recording vital signs and health status of residents, including temperature, blood pressure, and other relevant metrics.
  • Administering medications and injections as needed, in accordance with our facility's policies and procedures.
  • Treating and dressing wounds and bedsores, ensuring the highest level of care and comfort for our residents.
  • Supervising and guiding Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) as needed, to ensure that they are providing the best possible care to our residents.
  • Assisting residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitoring residents' food and liquid intake and output, to ensure their nutritional and hydration needs are met.
Requirements
  • Must be a licensed LPN in good standing with the New York State Board of Nursing.
  • Must be able to work as a team member, collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
  • Must be willing to learn and take on new challenges, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Estimated Salary

$62,000 - $72,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
