Job Description

ACL Digital is seeking a highly skilled Software Application Developer-Product 4 to join our team. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for leading the development, documentation, and maintenance of software architectures to meet customer, functional, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain software architectures to meet customer, functional, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide technical leadership for project management, including schedules, plans, and estimates
  • Prioritize tasks and lead reviews to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Assist project managers with risk management and progress reviews
  • Develop corrective action plans to address project issues
  • Develop Computer Software Component (CSC) software requirements and algorithms
  • Define external interfaces and lead trade studies
  • Perform CSC requirements change assessment and support requirements team lead in negotiating interfaces and requirements
  • Lead supplier/subcontract management team and ensure application of best practices
  • Review statements of work, conduct estimates, and manage risks
  • Translate contract requirements into work requirements, processes, and tasks
  • Manage customer and supplier relationships and participate in the development of fundamental approaches to projects and requirements for implementation
  • Lead development, maintenance, and unit tests for a software Computer Software Configuration Item (CSCI) using software development environments and programming languages
  • Lead code walkthroughs and develop/decompose, document, and maintain designs for a CSC
  • Participate in internal/external design reviews and lead integration/test efforts of complex systems
  • Create overall integration plans and lead development, selection, tailoring, and deployment of processes and tools
  • Lead process reviews and determine research directions and pursue related opportunities with internal/external organizations
  • Lead proposal efforts and provide expertise on resolution of regulatory and domain operational and integration issues to internal/external customers
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience with Angular or Typescript
  • 5+ years of experience utilizing Agile development processes
  • 3+ years of experience with Git
  • 3+ years of experience with REST services or microservices
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with tools for Continuous Integration/Delivery, Version Control, and Build Automation
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
  • Experience with Static code analysis
  • Experience writing unit tests
Education and Experience:

Typical education and experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

Project Overview:

As a part of a larger internal program, Boeing is assembling a team to build an aeronautical navigation data file editing tool. The tool will need to support editing of an XML file in a controlled, auditable fashion that complies with regulatory tracking requirements.
