We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Afterschool Education Professional to join our team at Candalaria Elementary. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Implementation: Develop and implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that meets the unique needs of each child.
- Classroom Environment: Create a safe, nurturing environment that encourages children to explore, learn, and grow.
- Parent Partnerships: Build strong relationships with parents, working together to provide the best possible care and education for their children.
- Center Success: Collaborate with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
- Community Engagement: Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, and corporate partners.
Qualifications
- Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively.
- Certifications: Hold CPR and First Aid Certification or be willing to obtain.
- State Qualifications: Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or be willing to obtain.
- Physical Abilities: Be physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
- Communication: Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English.
