Job Summary

Western Healthcare is seeking a skilled Physician Anesthesiologist to join our team in Lawrenceville, GA. As a full-time locum, you will be working in a Level-II trauma center and OB center with a high-volume delivery rate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide anesthesia services for cardiac and general surgeries
  • Collaborate with a team of 23 anesthesiologists and 53 anesthetists, including AAs and CRNAs
  • Share call with 2 other cardiac fellowship-trained and echo-certified physician anesthesiologists
  • Supervise a heart operation with a 3:1 ratio
  • Participate in cardiac call, which is MD-only, and general, trauma, and OB call, which is supervision-based
  • Complete 1 in-house overnight call and 10 home calls monthly
Requirements
  • ABA and Echo certification or eligibility
  • Cardiac fellowship training preferred, or recent cardiac surgery experience
  • 50% CABG and 50% valve case mix
  • Procedures include mitral clips, watchman, and TAVR guided by TEE cardiac anesthesiologists
