Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead the delivery operations team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
  • Strategic Planning: Prepare and plan strategies to meet operational goals and objectives.
  • Operational Excellence: Work closely with senior management to achieve operational excellence and facility success.
  • Process Improvement: Make recommendations and improvements to department processes and procedures.
  • Training and Development: Participate in the hiring, training, and coaching of associates.
  • Performance Evaluation: Use operational reports to evaluate department performance and ensure expectations are met.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure safe work practices and foster a safety culture.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience: 3+ years of transportation experience.
  • License and Certification: Valid driver's license with a safe driving history, ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen, and obtain a 6-month DOT medical card.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, or carry product up to a maximum of 70 pounds by hand.
