Job Description

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing system design calculations and other related design services, including coordination with other trades
  • Preparing drawings detailing the system designed
  • Leading project scheduling requirements, manpower requirements, and project budgets
  • Mentoring and delegating tasks to junior staff
  • Interfacing with clients and attending design meetings
  • Performing construction administration and field investigation tasks for assigned projects
  • Selecting equipment and fixtures for use in the building
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience designing Mechanical HVAC Building Systems
  • EIT certification required; PE certification preferred
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD required; Revit preferred
  • Understanding of local building and Energy Codes required
