Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated helicopter pilot to join our esteemed team of emergency medical professionals, mechanics, and aviators.

PILOT BENEFITS
Newly hired line pilots may qualify for various incentives based on specific base requirements, including:

Starting salary ranging from $83,640 to $92,004, contingent on experience

Geographic pay modifier between 2% to 30% based on assigned location

$15,000 sign-on bonus and a $40,000 retention bonus after three years, applicable at all locations

7/7 work schedule

24-hour housing provided at all bases

ROLE SUMMARY


The pilot will ensure that all operations involving company aircraft adhere to Federal Aviation Regulations, the Air Evac EMS Operations Manual, and relevant state and local regulations.

The pilot will operate the aircraft safely and efficiently, focusing on compliance with the Rotorcraft Flight Manual.

Responsibilities include monitoring weather forecasts and current conditions, conducting thorough preflight inspections, and documenting any discrepancies in the engineering log while notifying maintenance.

Pilots are expected to report for duty well-rested and informed about weather changes.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience:
Minimum of 2000 hours total flight time

At least 1500 hours of helicopter flight time

1000 hours as pilot in command of a helicopter

500 hours of turbine experience

100 hours of night flying without aids, or 50 hours without aids and 100 hours with aids

Preferred experience in Helicopter Air Ambulance (HAA) operations or equivalent

Education and Certifications:
Commercial Certificate for Rotorcraft-Helicopter

Instrument Rating for Rotorcraft-Helicopter

High school diploma or equivalent

Additional Requirements:
Must meet a weight limit of 230 pounds while dressed in flight suit and boots.
