Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Preschool Child Family Advocate. This role is a vital part of our Early Childhood program, providing care and educational development to children ages 0-3 and engaging their families in accordance with Federal Head Start Performance Standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and education to children, promoting their cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Build strong relationships with families, understanding their needs and concerns, and providing support and resources to help them thrive.
  • Collaborate with the classroom Teacher and other staff members to ensure a cohesive and effective program.
  • Develop and implement activities and lesson plans that meet the unique needs of each child and family.
  • Communicate effectively with families, providing regular updates and progress reports.
Requirements
  • High School diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience working with children and families, preferably in an Early Childhood setting.
  • Valid Missouri driver's license, transportation, and insurance.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual skills a plus.
