Job Title: Warehouse Lead

Bunzl Processor Division is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Lead to join our team in Cincinnati. As a key member of our warehouse management team, you will be responsible for assisting with shipping and receiving duties, directing daily activities, and ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist warehouse management in the timely and accurate assembly of customer orders, as well as the receipt of inventory.
  • Provide a professional environment among team members, other department members, and customers.
  • Direct daily activities to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Organize and improve productivity levels by implementing effective processes and efficiencies.
  • Ensure company policies are communicated, applied, and enforced.
  • Maximize quality and productivity by understanding company expectations and assisting the Warehouse Manager in evaluating performance variances.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of warehouse experience required; previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Equipment experience, including order picker and stand-up forklift.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (occasionally between 60 - 75 lbs) with or without reasonable accommodation for an entire shift.
  • Ability to work regularly at a height of up to 26 feet above the ground (with provided safety equipment/processes/training).
  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with AS400 highly preferred.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Capacity to effectively plan workload and staff assignments.
