Description

Your purpose is to maintain a clean and welcoming environment at YouFit Gyms. As a Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the facility is clean and well-maintained.

Compensation

We offer competitive compensation packages that include base pay and opportunities for additional earnings through bonuses. This is a part-time hourly position.

Core Job Duties

  • Floor Detailing: Mop and use a backpack vacuum to thoroughly clean all floors.
  • Locker Room Maintenance: Fully detail locker rooms, including showers, restrooms, saunas, and locker areas.
  • Gym Equipment Cleaning: Clean all gym equipment, which may involve tilting machines with a partner.
  • Facility Upkeep: Clean high walls, air vents, empty trash, and maintain the inventory of cleaning supplies.
  • Club Cleanliness: Collaborate with the supervising manager to ensure overall club cleanliness.
  • Inspection Adherence: Follow and adhere to club inspection sheets.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other job-related duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Position Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Proficient in multitasking, driven by self-motivation and a strong work ethic.

Physical Demands

  • The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by a team member to perform the essential functions of this role successfully. While performing the duties of this role, the team member is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely an active role with some bending, lifting (up to 50 pounds), and stooping required.
